Welcome to my page! I’m Maria Vrachioli.

I am a Senior Researcher in the Department of Production and Resource Economics at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. My work broadly focuses on Applied Production Economics, Natural Resource and Environmental Economics and, Water Use Efficiency and Productivity Analysis in agriculture. 

​

Before graduate school, I worked as a Research Associate for a 4-year European Union FP7 funded project. I received my Ph.D. in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida, USA, and my B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Macedonia, Greece.

Research interests:

• Production Economics,

• Natural Resource Economics,

• Water Use Efficiency and Productivity, and

• Applied Econometrics.
